The Institute's results have been exceptionally well with 100% success rate in MBA and MCA in the last two semesters. The students mostly secured a Grade indicating more than 70% marks.

In distance education where a sizable number of students are working in industry are hard pressed with work during the week, class routine have been designed in a manner so as to ensure that most of the classes for the student in employment can attend classes on weekends. This largely takes care of the students need.

The normal students in under graduate students can freely attend classes on weekdays with strong faculty support and a very healthy and congenial relationship between the students and the faculties with trust, understanding and mutual respect.

Scientific Timesharing Ltd. is a public limited company established in July 2003. Much before the company came into existence, a few professionals conceived the idea of setting up the company to work in the field of E-governance, E-commerce, Data Warehousing, Data Mining, EAI, SAP/ERP, B2B & B2C application etc.

The company's main focus being IT related work, it was soon found that with its expertise, a business and IT school would perhaps better utilize its talents. Against this backdrop since 2004 the company set up its educational wing "Indian Institute of Software Technology" (I.I.S.T) and obtained franchisee of Sikkim Manipal University in Kolkata. It has a set of experienced faculty who are genuinely devoted to teaching.

I.I.S.T.'S performance in the field of Business Management and IT have been exceptionally well with not only high rate of success in examination,the students generally score very high percentage of marks.Apart from freshers from schools and colleges,a large number of students employed in the industry join the institute in each semester because of class timing specially suited to their convenience.

The institute undertakes the following courses-BBA, MBA, BCA, BSc (IT), MSc (IT), MSC (CS), and MCA.
