Railway Projects :

HEAVY HAUL FREIGHT TRAIN OPERATION : We have started Railways Projects in India on October 30, 1979. On that day the current Managing Director of the company, Mr. Santosh Bose, visited RDSO, (Research, Design and Standards Organization), Lucknow, of Indian Railways, from USA and promoted the Heavy Haul Freight Train operation concept to them. IR has capacity constraints and Heavy Haul was presented to IR as a Problem Solution. IR cannot increase number of trains on existing track structure. Therefore, the only way IR can increase freight tonneage, is by increasing Trailing Loads of freight trains. IR’s average Trailing load is 4000 Tonnes and with Heavy Haul, the trailing load can be increased to 9000 tonnes – 12000 tonnes.

From Concept to Implementation, we had pursued this project vigorously. In 1988, we secured the contract for supply, installation, trial runs of 9000 tonnes Ore Trains between Kiriburu Ore Mine and Bokaro steel plant, Training IR Engineers and maintenance of the equipments. We successfully implemented this project and provided after-sales service for two years.

MICRO-PROCESSOR BASED WHEEL FLANGE LUBRICATORS : Our second successful Railway Project has been the Wheel-Flange Lubricating system with automatic curve sensing. This technology was suggested by us to IR in 1987 as a solution:

  • To Reduce derailment incidences of trains,
  • To save energy and fuel,
  • To increase Rail and Wheel life.

The first installations were made in 1989 in IR’s South Central Railway.

OPTICAL RAIL INSPECTION SYSTEM :   To solve another problem of IR, we had presented this technology to IR Board in 1997. This technology will detect Rail defects and enable IR to selectively change rails as against IR practice of changing rails of a whole section, irrespective of condition of the Rails.

We have special expertise in Rail technology, from modern Locomotives, to various modern technologies, which will increase railways productivity, increae capacity, reduce working cost and increase profitability. If you want to sell your products to Indian Railways or Bangladesh Railways, use our services. We have strong track records. We can assure you best results.
